Building upon the legacy of the internationally renowned women in music series that took place in Philadelphia for over five years, Triple 5 Soul is proud to sponsor this year’s Black Lily Film Festival. The Black Lily Film Festival will highlight multi-cultural women filmmakers and musicians by giving them a platform to exhibit their work.

The four-day program, taking place May 1-4th in Philadelphia PA, includes screenings of film and video by women directors from all over the world. There will also be workshops, panel discussions, a special session for girls ages 12-18, and two concerts featuring women musicians in all genres.

The 2008 Honorees include Bahamadia, Bernice Johnson Reagon, Jeri Lynne Johnson, Martha Diaz, Meshell Ndegeocello. Pearl Bowser, Stephanie Black and Tia Lessin.
